OK, this one is pretty cool. At this very moment, I am using a new browser called Flock to make this post. Flock is a so called Web 2.0 application or maybe more to the point, it’s Web 2.0 enabler. Flock is based on the very popular and highly recommened Firefox. Flock has tight integration with sites like del.icio.us and flickr and web applications such as WordPress (which I use as the content management system for this site), MoveableType and Blogger. It’s still in pre-release development status but I think it’s certainly worth a closer look.
I just caught a post on digg.com about polyphasic sleeping. It’s truly an interesting notion, you sleep only 20-30 minutes 6 or more times a day. This results in only 3-4 hours of sleep each day. The post linked to this site where Steve Pavlina successfully made the transition from monophasic to polyphasic sleeping. What does this have to do with technology or Apple computers? Well, what would you do with 20 hours awake each day?
You heard it here first! While its all really just speculation at this point I said it here before, GoogleOS is just the next logical step for the Internet’s “Fair Haired Boy”. Will I be buying a PC at Wal-Mart anytime soon? Not a chance. Will I find a copy of GoogleOS to install and test? You bet!
