It’s been a while since I have written about it, mostly because it has been a while since we’ve done anything with it. More than a few years ago now, my cousin and I started a little business, Khomodo, with modest expectations. We wanted to start a web hosting service that didn’t suck. We have been through a couple of additional partners, but none of them had the vision or invested interest that Ian and I have. We didn’t expect to be able to make it a full time business at first but certainly thought that it would get there in due time. Well, for one of us, that time has come. I want to welcome Ian as Khomodo’s first quasi-full-time employee. Ian is finally going to take some time away from the grind of running restaurants for other people and devote his time to free-lancing webdesign and drumming up hosting work for Khomodo. Ian is incredibly talented, creative and motivated. He is an employers wet-dream; if he doesn’t know it, he’ll learn it. If he knows it, he’ll do it better than the next guy. I’ve never known anyone who will work harder and devote so much of his own time to his work. That being said, it’s time for Ian to rejoin the living. His family and friends miss him. We’re tired of only catching a token glimpse of his shadow around the holidays. Ian, you are a man, not a sasquatch, it is time to come out of hiding, Khomodo welcomes you with open arms.

As it looks right now, Ian will be starting out by focusing on design and integration of Drupal, a very full featured content management system (CMS) and likely doing some WordPress themes and other web design work as it comes available. If you are interested in the design and/or hosting of your own website please drop us a line at support@khomodo.com and express your interest.
